A Jealous Hert

1 Samuel 16:14-23 | King Saul started out as a Godly king but small choices led him to a place of total ruin and rebellion. The saddest form of decay and deterioration is the decay of the human spirit. When you think about a human being who starts the race so well, and then drifts away from God and allows their character to sink and their heart to get sour, it is so very sad. Are there any subtle areas in your life where you’re withholding obedience from God by nursing resentment or bitterness, but you tell yourself it’s just righteous indignation?
