2 Samuel 11, 12 - David & Bathsheba | Many people wrestle with sin in their lives each day. They love God but they struggle in temptation and sometimes fall into sin. Sin is always a decision and it always has extreme consequences attached to it. This story is the story of David & Bathsheba, and David’s choice to sin. "How could David allow it to happen?" David loved God his whole life. But here he is guilty of lust, coveting, and deceit. He becomes an Adulterer and a murderer. David covers up his sin from nearly everyone! But there is one who sees everything with utter moral clarity. He will call us all into account. His justice will not be evaded. And He will not be taken in by the cleverest cover-up. “Be SURE your sins will find you out...one day!”
